JEE Main 2018 Admit Card: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) scheduled to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) on 8th and 15th, 16th April 2018. Candidates who had applied are searching for the admit cards as it is the important document to carry for the examination and contains details regarding the exam venue, roll number etc. CBSE will release the JEE mains 2018 admit cards in few days. Candidates can download the admit cards here or from the official website as soon as after the release.

Note: The candidates who are not able to download their admit card due to mismatch in their name in JEE (Main) with their Board data will be given facility to correct their name in application form of JEE (Main) according to their Board’s data and then they will be able to download their admit card.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2018 conducted the joint admission process for a total of 18 IITs, ISM Dhanbad, 32 NITs, 18 IIITs and 19 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). JEE Main exam has two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2. Candidates may opt for either or both of them. Both papers contain multiple choice questions. Paper 1 is for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses. It is conducted both online and offline. Paper-2 is for admission in B.Arch and B.Planning courses. This year it has released notification and candidates who had applied can download the admit cards from the official website.

CBSE JEE Mains Admit Card 2018:

JEE Main Admit Card: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main examination on 8th and 15th, 16th April 2018. Without admit card candidate is not allowed to write the examination and must download online as the it is not sent to the candidates individually.

JEE Mains Examination Pattern:

JEE Main has a fixed exam structure. The paper-1 is of three hours duration and consists of thirty multiple-choice (single-correct) questions in each of the three subjects (physics, chemistry and maths). There is negative marking for incorrect answers. 4 marks are awarded for correct answers and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has notified following two changes in the JEE pattern for 2018:

1. There shall be no weightage for the 12^th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination,

2. For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12^th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
